I think I would say that I'm probably one of the last people on the mini-notebook PC (or netbook) jump the train. could I have to tell you when I first saw one of these things that I did not find out what was the attraction. I thought, "This is just a little notebook or laptop sorta wannabe. Why not just go out and get the real McCoy?" Then I had the chance to use an Acer Aspire One. I changed my mind in a hurry.

I had the Samsung N110 on Amazon for hours. Free shipping on the computer and 2 GB of RAM. The price was the best one out there (from a trusted source.) I absolutely love this little machine. E 'resonably fast - even faster than I expected, and the keyboard is very comfortable to use - no pressure at all for my fat fingers! He offered to split the hard drive into two partitions, which I did. With the 160GB hard drive, I have no more space than I need. The D: drive is used as a backup and restore for drive C:. I loaded Mapsource, Skype, and MS Office 2007 on the computer and everything worked perfectly. (I have shared the DVD on my desktop computer and assigned to the netbook, so I could easily load the software without a separate USB-DVD purchase.)

I was very aprehensive when I decided to buy this netbook. I already have 3 desk top 7-8. Sony Vaio laptop bought last year. Size and weight that I liked, it was a toy?. Well this is nice piece of material. Run fast and shoes. I added my favorite software Norton Internet Security (took [...]) Ad-Aware and many others. Everything worked well. I bought 2 GB of RAM, installed very simple, but noticed no increase in speed. I love this netbook 2.9 pounds wearing Anyware continues to wi-fi. I dont play, so I do not need more energy. I reasoned, when I bought [...] I could take it back a few months if I do not. But I Do, it's coming back, I would have with me when I was in Europe. You can buy this netbook with confidence, you'll love it.

I spent many days and hours looking for the right netbook for me. After much research I ordered from Amazon this Netbook. I totally love it. And 'everything I wanted. E 'light, not too hot and I like the keyboard. Many of the netbooks I looked were looking cheap. Seemed to a toy. Some were already falling apart in the shops. This is quality. It has everything you could want in a netbook. I am very satisfied with the quality of this little computer.

I have been pleased overall with this Gateway computer. A couple of items though. First, Windows 7 Starter required me to get some new drivers for printers (not the computer’s fault). The battery lasts around 6 hrs of active browsing. It comes preloaded with MS Office Trial Version that you can “unlock” if you pay the fee. I purchased my own Business version and thus had to strip this off before installing mine. I did need tech support for an issue and found out they are only available for a fee so EXPECT NOTHING. Overall I’m pleased with this computer, not its support.

Even without eight hours of extended battery, which has received the first buyers, the battery life is great. I have the time 6.5 hours or more to obtain and usually at least 5.5 hours. Will be depending on the brightness of the screen is what you are on your hard drive and other activities. If you do not need to have Wi-Fi, you can disable it before the switch and have a longer life.
This is my second purchase of Acer, the first is the smallest (I think it's 8.5 or 9 inches) blue screen predecessor. Both are great.
