Even without eight hours of extended battery, which has received the first buyers, the battery life is great. I have the time 6.5 hours or more to obtain and usually at least 5.5 hours. Will be depending on the brightness of the screen is what you are on your hard drive and other activities. If you do not need to have Wi-Fi, you can disable it before the switch and have a longer life.
This is my second purchase of Acer, the first is the smallest (I think it's 8.5 or 9 inches) blue screen predecessor. Both are great.
This version, for some reason do not have many problems with the return from hibernation, and it seems faster than the first.
But both are working for my diploma-big-school, with a document-intensive writing and Net-based research.
I like the toolbar buttons for the touch pad in the front, this time in comparison to the sides.
For the price, this is a great value.
