I bought this netbook, because it was small and easily transportable, and because it had Windows XP, and not the resource hog Vista. I also chose to have 3 USB ports, which I like because I live in an area that does not have broadband or Wifi ….. but I have a Verizon Air Card USB for my internet. I use the other two USB ports for printer and my USB external DVD player / writer.
The computer came with a little 'software as a 60 days trial of Office 2007 Student. I have Office 2003 Professional on my HP Pavilion so I have to Acer, so that both cars could be compatible, as a network together individual computers. I prefer it that way. I also prefer the version of Office 2003 Professional. E 'come with McAfee anti-virus I immediately removed and replaced with my package of Kaspersky Internet Security (who prefer McAfee or Norton).
